IT Manager Vacant Position

Salary: £ 42,662 - £54,574 + On-Call + Costs

Acivico Ltd is a multidisciplinary practice encompassing Building Consultancy, Design Consultancy (Technical Services) and Facilities Management services across a range of public and private sector clients and we have an exciting opportunity to recruit an IT Manager to help deliver our ambitious business plan.

Do you take strategic ownership and possess the thinking skills necessary to provide IT expertise across Acivico, to support our ambitious growth and diversification objectives? 

You will have the ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment and utilise an iterative method and flexible approach to enable rapid delivery.  You will also be user and service focused and will embed the service management framework across the IT team and wider business.

Based at our office in Birmingham, brief duties include but not limited to:

  • Compliance and governance – IT risk, DR and Pen Testing
  • Business analysis - Ensures that the business solution aligns with the vision, mission, objectives, strategy, business and user needs and can identify and recognise a viable solution or control.
  • Relationship management - Identifies, analyses, manages and monitors relationships with and between stakeholders.
  • Supplier management - Management of 3rd party support organisations who provide an extended IT service
  • Financial ownership - Management of IT operational budget. 
  • Product ownership

Service Reporting - Takes management information and consolidates agreed key performance indicators into product or service measures that underpin service management of a specific product or service.

Team management - Full lifecycle of employees to include recruitment, on/off-boarding, coaching and development, succession planning, capacity management, rota management, regular 1:1s, annual appraisals, disciplinary matters, etc.
