Principal Designer/Construction Design Management

Principal Designer/CDM

The introduction of the CDM 2015 Regulations has placed wider statutory duties on both clients and Designers. The emphasis of the new regulations has been on bringing CDM closer into the Design Team by creating the new Principal Designer role to replace the previous role of CDM Coordinator. Acivico, as a long standing multi-disciplinary practice with its own CDM team is in an ideal position to not only provide the full Principal Designer role but also to provide an advisory service to Clients.

Acivico’s team of CDM Advisers are APS Registered in accordance with CDM 2015. With over 20 years’ experience of compliance with the CDM Regulations, we are used to working with both Acivico’s in-house design professionals and external consultants on a wide variety of construction projects. Our experience includes housing, education, leisure, commercial and parks, together with railway station refurbishments and historic / listed buildings, from small scale refurbishments to huge, multi million pound developments.

Our CDM Advisers are NEBOSH qualified (Construction Health & Safety) and as part of a large, multi-disciplinary consultancy, we have the skills, knowledge, experience and organisational capability to provide you with the support you need to discharge your CDM duties with confidence.

Acivico has full CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme) accreditation and is registered with Safety Schemes In Procurement (SSIP).

As part of a multi-disciplinary consultancy we are able to draw on a vast pool of experience.
