Services - early stage design - multi-disciplinary services

Formerly Magnolia House provided office facilities for the education sector.The project is to provide a medium refurbishment of an existing office building, originally built circa 1960, to accommodate a change of use into residential accommodation for homeless families. The refurbishment is to provide a minimum of 55 units, offering the homeless an environment that is clean, safe and warm and complete with associated shared sanitary and communal facilities.

The proposals also include staff office facilities for Birmingham Homeless support team and minor external works to support the scheme.

Acivico have provided ‘part design’ services from feasibility to completion of stage three, comprising of architectural, project management, quantity surveying, structural, mechanical, electrical and site investigation surveys prior to handover to the contractor design team for completion of RIBA stages four to seven.
