More specialised forms

We also provide a number of ad-hoc functions under the Building Act for which an engagement form is required these can be found here along with a brief explanation:

ABC – Section 80(2) Form 2020 – this form should only be used if you are a contractor undertaking demolition works for a structure that exceeds 30m2.

Part P Electrical Work Form 2020 –  this form should only be used in the unlikely event that either you or your contractor has no recognised electrical qualifications for works notifiable under Part P.  The minimum recognised qualification is presently 18th Edition Inspection and Test. Where this can not be demonstrated in order to secure compliance we will need to employ a competent contractor (at your expense) to oversee and sign off the works.

Regularisation Form –  this form should only be used where controllable works have been undertaken in the past that were not at that time subject to our input.   Please be aware that in many cases that this will present a number of potentially complex practical challenges that will need to be overcome in order for us to sign off the works.

In the case of an extension much of what we need to verify will be covered over or in some cases be underground.  Prior to submitting please bear in mind that works may need exposure or justification for us to be able to confirm compliance with the relevant Building Regulations.

ABC – Section 39 Form 2020 – this form should only be used in relation to works that require an input under the Safety at Sports Ground Act for a designated stand or stadium.
